Butler County Community College and their faculty have agreed on terms for a new three-year contract.
BC3’s board of trustees unanimously approved the contract with the 95 full-time and regular part-time faculty members that calls for salary increases in each of the three years of the deal.
The contract provides for increases in base salaries and health care contributions along with a one-time $3,500 payment for 66 full-time faculty members in the first year of the contract.
Tenured faculty will receive $350 increases to their base salary in each year of the contract. The offer also provides an early retirement incentive of $25,000 for those with at least 15 years of service in late 2023 and early 2024.
Negotiations began in January and the previous contract expired June 30, 2022.
